Motif Number 1 Rockport, MA.

The Basics

Motif Number 1 is a replica of a former fishing shack located on Bradley Wharf in the harbor town of Rockport, Massachusetts. The original structure was built in 1840 and destroyed in the Blizzard of 1978. The town, recognizing its iconic value, has taken pains to preserve both its structure and appearance. (Wikipedia)

The Beauty

Motif Number 1 is well known to students of art and history as "the most often painted building in America." (Wikipedia).  The composition and lighting of its location is a magnet for photographers and painters alike.  The less said the better in this case. Just look at it!
